No U.S. Tax Credits for the
Chinese Communist Party.

China has launched an aggressive onslaught into America's electric vehicle (EV) battery industry. Featuring exclusive access, this documentary takes you behind the scenes of China's bid to control America's EV future, jeopardizing American jobs, U.S. national security, and the environment.

OUR MISSION

The mission of the EV Taxpayer Task Force is to raise awareness of the existential threat to U.S. technology and manufacturing posed by China and the Chinese Communist Party. Allowing China to access U.S. technology, especially in automotive and battery manufacturing, is an unacceptable risk to U.S. national security and American industry. Further, allowing Chinese companies to benefit from U.S. tax credits intended solely for American companies must be prevented.

ABOUT THE
EV TAXPAYER TASK FORCE

The EV Taxpayer Task Force believes it is dangerous to allow Chinese companies to access U.S. automotive and battery technology – and unacceptable for these companies to receive U.S. tax credits in exchange for investment in American manufacturing.

Far from helping U.S. manufacturing, the Chinese are actively attacking domestic infrastructure and America’s ability to independently manufacture critical technologies. Some American companies are collaborating with the Chinese supplier CATL (named by the U.S. government as a “foreign entity of concern”), which would establish a Chinese foothold in the heart of America’s automotive industry – all subsidized by U.S. taxpayers. This cannot stand.

The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and the Inflation Reduction Act were together intended to ensure that critical technology across industries, and especially in automotive and battery technology, will be manufactured in the U.S. and will help secure domestic supply chains and jumpstart America’s green energy transition. Incentives to domestically manufacture these technologies also put hard-working, middle-class Americans first and incentivize companies in the U.S. to use American products and workers to lead in the construction and adoption of electric vehicles.

The mission of the EV Taxpayer Task Force is to bring attention to the trojan horse of Chinese partnerships with U.S. companies that will benefit from U.S. tax credits even as they actively work to steal sensitive information and compromise U.S. technological innovation. It is also a fight to protect American workers and economic progress that puts the American taxpayer first.
